Unlike the Alesis format, which uses one snake for both ins and outs, Tascam and Fostex digital multitracks employ a 25-pin D-Sub connector, and therefore require 2 snakes; one for the inputs and one for the outputs. Here are the snakes to use for balanced 1/4 in. phone connections at the console. The DTP803 is a 25-pin D-Sub to 8 balanced 1/4 in. phone, 3m (9.9 ft.) cable.
