I am gradually replacing all my cables with Proco quad cables. They are QUIET. They have no noise. They stand up to (moderate) abuse. They coil, uncoil, pack, unpack, plug unplug, cart, drive, repeat, repeat. They would be worth every penny if they cost twice what they do. The Excalibur instrument cables are excellent, but I want to try the quad wire instrument cables also. The quad wire microphone cables are the final word in mic cables. Just get them.
Value:
Cheap cables are fine, but only if you have cheap equipment to go with them. If you have good microphones and good mixers, amps, cabs, instruments and recorders then you need good cables. Get these.
