I play a Fender P-bass through this head. I've owned several Ampeg amps in the past and the B2R is absolutely the best at a reasonable price. I push a Hartke 215xl with it and the tone is beautiful!! I've owned GK,Fender bassman and 400ps,Sunn 200s,Carvin and used Hartke and Mesa amps. The quality and straight-forward controls have won me over. I actually prefer it over the SVT classic because of less maintenance,weight and the tone is very rich.
