Following on from the success of its first plug-in, BBE Sound Inc has launched a new version of its critically-acclaimed Sonic Maximizer plug-in employing revised code to support more platforms. In addition, this is the first Sonic Maximizer plug-in to be offered in music and pro audio retail stores. Now supporting both Mac and PC VST platforms, as well as Direct X, the new BBE plug-in allows unlimited user-definable presets, real-time preset changes and full MIDI implementation.

Three knobs,but they do the job.

Value:
Could've been a little cheaper but the sound makes up for it.

Sound:
Way better than I expected.I would disagree that it's a "DOG" of a plugin and it definitely compares to the outboard versions.

Support:
Haven't needed any.

Overall:
It's a simple tool that sounds very sweet and cut's down on the need to EQ.I sometimes can drive myself nuts trying to fix muddy recordings and just end up over EQ'ing everything.This has helped me a great deal.
