Feature:
The flexibility of the patchmix is really cool. The downside is that I can't get a wave/host higher than 48khz, but it sounds so good I am overlooking that - for now. I'm not too experienced with this stuff yet- i've always had trouble with asio, etc.

Quality:
high quality build - everything I noticed was gold plated. Doesn't slide around, good rubber footers! Looks really nice on my desk. Very convenient for headphones with the knob right there. Lights indicate sample rate. I like it - Ok?

Value:
The sound is to die for, very high quality build, good manual, hardware features packed to the brim, - also software bundle is impressive and fully functioning -wavelab lite, cubase 5.1.

Desirability:

Sound:
I used to have an audiophile card, then a motu828mkii, I returned it and got the emu. The sound is superlative, I have mackie 626 monitors and I turned them WAY up, It sounded so good I couldn't believe it! Running out to my lexicon and back, the noise floor is still very low (going analog), compared to the motu which was too noisy with that for me.

Overall:
I haven't really tested everything on it yet, so I can't vouch for everything. I've had it a month and am very impressed. I first got the motu and I don't even want to explain why i think it s**ked so much, because I will start to get upset about it again. Sound is not up to the emu for starters imo.
