REVIEWS Feature: The usual Paul controls provide quite a range of sound and tone. The neck is very comfortable, especially with my smaller hands.
Quality: The set up was off and the frets needed work. All else is a 10. Mine was purchased as an "as is" guitar for some dings, what have u.I only play for myself to beat acoustic boredom. I would expect that this guitar will hold up fine with reasonable care.
Value: It's worth the money.
Desirability: Sex appeal, perhaps some. This guitar is more of an understatement. However, I like looking at it. A Les Paul is an elegant looking product in general.
Sound: The sound is just great. It kind of reminds me of an acoustic when chording, nice. The ticket for blues rock. I have heard somewhat better for clean blues and Jazz. However, this thing does just about anything you want it to quite well.
Support: Gibson took care of the frets under warranty. I never spoke with Gibson, the warranty station took care of it.
Overall: The only other guitar that I would be tempted to buy would be a used "The Paul" made about 25 or so years ago. My instructor has this model and I think BB would trade Lucille for it. I think, since I play for myself that my LP Faded will be my only electric guitar.
