Feature:
Wish it had an ebony fretboard and a finished top, but then I'd have paid $200 more! The guitar plays and sounds wonderful as it is - laminate sides & back, rosewood fingerboard, plain top, Martin tuners.
Quality:
Quality is second-to-none. I was a bit nervous at first because it was a bit lighter than any of my previous acoustics, but this turned out to be a non-issue.
Value:
This guitar is sells for an oustanding price for the value.
Desirability:
Not the flashiest thing in the world, but then what quality acoustic really is? Its built very well, and shows it. Basically a plain-jane item that sounds killer.
Sound:
The tone and volume of this guitar is everything you'd expect from a Martin. Much, much richer and fuller than "comparable" guitars with laminate sides & back.
Support:
I have had no company contact or warranty experience with this guitar.
Overall:
I will always buy Martin acoustics, and will go with the DM again for a budget/practice model.
