ReviewsQuality:
A beautiful unfinished cymbal. No two are alike. Mine looks like it was sitting on the bottom of the ocean for many years--stunning. The hammering just looks cool. Nice heavy cymbal.
Value:
Worth the money. You get what you pay for in cymbals. This is my second K series cymbal--the first being a set of 13" hats.
Desirability:
very sexy. Tells people you care about tone without having to say anything.
Sound:
This ride has a dark, dry complex tone to it. If you are into the bright pingy sound, don't go for this K. Great wash and crash/ride tone. Great stick tip definition and a surprisingly big bell tone.
Ease of Use:
Like all K series cymbals, you have to know how to play to really use them well. The range of sounds is huge though--almost like having 3 cymbals in one.
Overall:
don't think I'll be looking for another ride ever.
