I ordered these monitors on Monday afternoon, and they arrived at my door Tuesday around 3:00 (I paid for 2nd day..it arrived in 1 day). I can't imagine a better shopping experience. I've only been using them a short time, but the monitors sound great!, exactly what I wanted. They provide a very flat response allowing you to hear your mix unadulterated. I work in a space of 15' x 15' and they perform very well. For reference, it should be noted that I have a rather stripped down studio setup (1 keyboard contoller..acoustic and electric guitar) I use Sonar for recording and mixing and take advantage of lots of their softsynths. I'm a firm believer that one doesn't have to spend loads of money to get good performance. If you're smart about where and how you spend, you'd be surprised at what can be accomplished on a minimial budget. I first saw these at Sam Ash. When I asked about them, the salesperson, in a very condecending manner, advised me that I needed to spend at least $500-$600 if I was serious about what I do. Not only did I find that insulting, he lost a customer, and ZZounds gained one.
