ReviewsFeature: You can't run a balanced line from the input to the balanced inputs on the resolv65a or 80a monitors (or any other monitors for that matter.) This really bites my ass as it is evident that no forthought was used when designing the unit. This is also became more evident when I discovered that no 5.1 was available either.
Quality: It gets a 6 because of the poor features, and although the product produces good audio, it cannot compensate for the fact that I will have to go out and buy 2 di boxes and a 5.1 decoder to run a 5.1 balanced line system.
Value: It was affordable and thats why I got it.
Desirability: Having upgraded my studio to balanced lines means that it has become more of a burden than any other studio component of mine
Support: I asked them what frequency I should set the sub crossover to for use with the 80a monitors and have still not received a reply (The manual says first try 75 hz and work your ears around what you think sounds best) I do not want it to sound good, I want it to be accurate. I have found now though that after much use 65hz seems to be producing quite accurate results.
