Introducing the H4 Handy Digital Recorder. The next big thing from Zoom. The H4 features 2 studio-quality electret condenser microphones configured in an X/Y pattern for true stereo recording. It also includes 2 combination XLR-1/4 in. input jacks with phantom power for use with any external microphones of your choice. And the H4 is loaded with onboard studio effects such as compression, limiting and mic modeling. An 1/8 in. headphone jack is also provided for monitoring. The H4 records on to Secure Digital (SD) media, a 512MB SD card is included with the unit.

Feature:
This has a gazillion features: recorder, audio interface, 4 track, effects, what else do you want...?

Quality:
This is where this device could be improved the most. The build quality is poor and it is made of plastic. Luckily the mics have a metal sort of cage around them.

Sound:
This sounds good for my purposes, external mics help...

Ease of Use:
This is not hard to use but the interface could use work... other reviews are correct on this. If you are bad with technology this might be hard, if you are good with technology this is not hard.
